We were excited to try ISO, not quite 5 stars for me though like the otter reviews. Definitely more focused on takeaway as there is nice but minimal seating inside we expected this as it was previously a small pizza take away. Food wise the Sushi portions are big enough for a main meal for one or a large sharing item, for the price it was impressive. However, my issue was the actual Sushi rolls were also very big, larger than normal, the balance of protein, veg and rice was way off and difficult to eat. We also had soft shell crab tempura, looked good, the tempura batter was beautifully thin and crispy, but then their claws freaked me out chicken gyoza was ok, the dumplings were cooked perfectly and presented well but I wasn't expecting the flavour, definitely not traditional. They tasted good so no issues but possibly a better description on the menu needed, they were bright orange inside and had flavours of Indian samosa. Katsu Bao buns were definitely the item that pushed this experience from a 3 to 4 star, they were fantastic, the bao buns were soft and perfectly cooked, the filling was delicious! The 2 not so adventurous diners tried the wagu smash burgers with fries, they looked good and no complaints. We'll definitely go back, we saw the maki rolls and katsu bento going to another table and they looked amazing!!
Food ordered to collect around 12:30. We arrived and the food was all but readyto collect. Fresh, tasty and definitely worth a visit for good local sushi. If you want to avoid travelling into Preston, this is a great option. Highly recommend.
Ordered the Loaded Fries and Prawn Katsu - both came piping hot. The sushi was so yummy too - my new favourite spot. The kids loved it too - will defo be ordering again
